VIVE welcomed the state visit of the Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic Martina Šimkovičová.

On Thursday, October 10, VIVE welcomed the state visit of the Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic, Martina Šimkovičová, and a delegation, in synergy with the Office of the Diplomatic Advisor to the Honorable Minister of Culture and the International Relations Office of the Department for General Administration thereof.

On Thursday, October 10, the VIVE, in synergy with the Office of the Diplomatic Advisor to the Hon. Minister of Culture and the Office for International Relations of the Department for General Administration thereof, welcomed the state visit of the Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic, Martina Šimkovičová, and the delegation composed of, among others, Ambassador to Italy Karla Matiaško Wursterova, Secretary General of the Ministry Lukáš Machala, and Director General for Cultural Heritage Peter Luká.

The meeting started with an institutional table at Palazzo Venezia, where the delegation was welcomed by VIVE Director Edith Gabrielli, with the Director of the Office for International Relations Dr. Mariassunta Peci, and continued with a visit to Palazzo Venezia to conclude at the Vittoriano with a focus on the Central Museum of the Risorgimento.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation from the Slovak Republic was welcomed by the Director of the Institute for the History of the Italian Risorgimento, Prof. Alessandro Campi.

The visit was an opportunity to illustrate the organization of VIVE and in particular of the Museum of the Risorgimento, identified by the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic as a possible scientific and managerial model for the activity of valorization of their national history.
