ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

INTRODUCTION

This website was designed in light of the accessibility recommendations provided by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as part of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), according to the principle of universal design.

The reference document for making the website accessible was the recommendation published by the W3C on 5 May 1999 containing the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 1.0), as adopted in the Italian legal system with Law n. 4 of 2004 (the Stanca Act) and by Presidential Decree n. 75 of 1 March 2005 (Stanca Act Implementation Regulation)
In evaluating the degree of accessibility of the resources that are part of this website, applications to assist in validation were used. However, much attention was paid to analytical and manual assessment by experts who are qualified in the matter, following the inspection points outlined by the WCAG 1.0.

Following said assessment, the website was determined to be compliant with the following standards:

  • XHTML 1.0 Strict
  • CSS 2.0
  • Second level of accessibility (double A) according to WCAG 1.0
