CYCLE: Ideas and Figures. Stories of innovative strategies for architecture
SPEAKER: Fabrizio Barozzi
DATE: Thursday 8 January, 6 pm

The essential character of a place is often found in certain unexpressed conditions—fragments, spaces, materials, atmospheres—that can be taken, transformed, and translated into new architectures that preserve and enhance the identity of both the architecture and the place. Through the narration of a series of projects by the Barozzi Veiga studio, the talk will reflect on the ability of contemporary architecture to engage with historical heritage, generating new public narratives.
