Eighty-one meters of stories, written over more than sixty years, carved in bronze and marble, stored in the rooms of a huge stone book. The story of a mountain fragment from the Eastern Front. The story of an ancient Roman goddess who protects citizens and warriors. The story of hundreds of postcards sent a century ago to an unknown soldier. On the occasion of the National Day of National Unity, the Armed Forces and on the anniversary of the arrival of the Unknown Soldier at the Altar of the Fatherland, a never-before-seen tour presents the Vittoriano through a web of stories, encapsulating the dreams and values shared by generations of citizens. And because we never stop imagining and telling stories, adults and children can create a personal letter dedicated to the Vittoriano between past and present.
