Palazzo Venezia through the senses

FAMU 2023 at VIVE
- Children and families at VIVE
- Sensory visit for families
- Sunday October 8, 4 pm

Sunday, October 8, 2023 National Day of Families at the Museum at VIVE
Following the success of previous editions, the National Day of Families at the Museum, the cultural event dedicated to children to promote and facilitate the encounter between families and the many exhibition venues that enrich our country, is back. The FAMU 2023 - OPEN MUSEUM! edition will talk to children about inclusion, uniqueness, welcome and urge museums to also reflect on the issue of accessibility.
For the occasion, VIVE, with its educational team, will offer families with children the special inclusive Palazzo Venezia through the senses tour. Strolling through the majestic halls of Palazzo Venezia, the tour leads us to discover its history through a novel sensory journey, involving the body, movement and imagination of the participants. The path winds its way through the halls of the museum, in constant interaction with the works of art and materials in the collection: marble masterpieces are revealed through touch, ceramics from an ancient apothecary's shop are told through the smells of the mixtures they have contained over the centuries. A synaesthetic experience, which includes several activities to be carried out during the visit, is offered as an inclusive journey for all participants.
