Wednesday 4 November: Delayed Opening of the Vittoriano

On Wednesday 4 November 2026, on the occasion of National Unity and Armed Forces Day, the President of the Italian Republic will pay tribute to the Unknown Soldier at the Altar of the Fatherland by laying a laurel wreath.

The Vittoriano will open to the public once the official ceremonies have concluded.
