Vittoriano
On Tuesday 8 April 2025, Their Majesties The King and Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will lay a wreath at the Altar of the Fatherland in tribute to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
To allow the ceremony to take place and for public safety reasons, the Vittoriano will open to visitors from 12:30 pm.
Palazzo Venezia will remain open via the entrance at 118 Via del Plebiscito. However, the entrance at 49 Piazza San Marco will remain closed until the end of the ceremony.
