Thursday, June 11, 2026: temporary closure of Vittoriano from 3:00 PM

On Thursday, June 11 2026, Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia's portal overlooking Piazza San Marco will be closed to the public from 3:00 PM for a ceremony to pay tribute to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier by the President of the Republic of Korea. The Vittoriano monument and Palazzo Venezia's portal will reopen regularly to the public at the end of the ceremony, at approximately at 4:20 PM.
