The rediscovered gold

During the cleaning of the wooden ceiling, the original gilding re-emerged: a painstaking, patient restoration that restored the room to its full radiance.

Crafted from plywood and solid wood in the style of 15th-century ceilings, the ceiling was severely damaged. Today, it shines once more, gold included.
