Palazzo Venezia: Temporary Closure of Some Rooms for Restoration Works

To allow for restoration and enhancement works on the historic interiors and their decorative features, some rooms at Palazzo Venezia – the Barbo Apartment, the Monumental Halls (Sala delle Battaglie, Sala Regia and Sala del Mappamondo), the Corridoio della Madonnella, the Corridoio degli Angeli and the Loggia delle Benedizioni – are temporarily closed to the public.

The works form part of a broader project for the conservation and adaptive reuse of the spaces, overseen by Edith Gabrielli, Director of VIVE – Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia, and architect Michele De Lucchi. The project aims to enhance the appreciation of these historic interiors and ensure they can be fully enjoyed by visitors.
