Palazzo Venezia: Historic Halls temporarily closed to public for restoration

To allow for the restoration and enhancement of the rooms and their decorative features, the halls of Palazzo Venezia— Appartamento Barbo, Saloni Monumentali (including Sala delle Battaglie, Sala Regia, and Sala del Mappamondo), Corridoio della Madonnella, Corridoio degli Angeli, and Loggia delle Benedizioni—will be temporarily closed to the public until summer 2026.

This work is part of a larger project to conserve and re-functionalize these spaces, overseen by VIVE Director Edith Gabrielli and architect Michele De Lucchi. The restoration will ensure these historic areas are fully restored and ready for optimal future use.
