VIVE educational team offers adults, families and schools an educational program dedicated to the exhibition Italian Railways (1861–2025). From national unity to the challenges of the future displayed in Zanardelli Hall of Vittoriano from November 7, 2025, to January 11, 2026.
A unique opportunity to immerse oneself in a multidisciplinary narrative where paintings and sculptures by artists such as Giuseppe De Nittis, Fortunato Depero, Mario Sironi, Giorgio de Chirico, Giulio Paolini, and Jannis Kounellis; photographs by Gianni Berengo Gardin, Letizia Battaglia, Ferdinando Scianna, Gabriele Basilico, and Mimmo Jodice; videos and drawings by Pino Pascali; performances by John Cage and Sissi; and film excerpts by Vittorio De Sica, Luchino Visconti, and Federico Fellini, are interwoven with archival images and the voices of poets and writers—Giosuè Carducci, Giovanni Pascoli, Giovanni Verga, Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, Eugenio Montale, Italo Calvino, and Andrea Camilleri, among others—to convey to the public the emotional and imaginary dimension of train travel.
