The VIVE Explorers

An adventure to discover Palazzo Venezia and the Vittoriano, where every child becomes a true heritage explorer. During the visit, participants will receive a small explorer’s map on which they can write notes, draw or complete simple observation challenges. Through games, riddles and the search for hidden details, children will learn to explore a museum with curious eyes, developing their attention, observation skills and sense of direction. An experience to enjoy together with parents, who become teammates in the adventure of discovery.

The Renaissance Workshop

How did a sixteenth-century artist work? What materials did they use? And how was a masterpiece created? This activity takes families into the heart of Palazzo Venezia to discover the world of Renaissance workshops. Each child will receive an artist’s sketchbook, with simple drawing, observation and recognition activities focusing on decorations, colours and symbols. The visit combines storytelling, games and creative activities, allowing children to learn about the work of artists while having fun.

Rome Seen with New Eyes

From the Vittoriano Terrace, the city becomes a vast map to explore. Guided by an educator, children will learn to recognise Rome’s domes, monuments and landmarks, observing them from above. Using an illustrated panoramic map, they will identify buildings, trace routes and complete simple orientation challenges. An activity designed to stimulate curiosity, observation skills and the ability to read the urban landscape, transforming the city into a story to discover together.

Heroes, Symbols and Colours of the Risorgimento

An interactive tour of the Vittoriano and the Central Museum of the Risorgimento, designed to introduce children to the birth of a united Italy through play. Children will receive a young citizen’s passport, featuring symbols to recognise, historical figures to discover and small missions to complete along the way. Flags, monuments, works of art and stories become tools for exploring the values of identity, memory and citizenship, in an engaging experience designed for the whole family.
