What are the colours, forms and objects that represent Italy? What are the words and images that storytellers and artists most often use to describe the history of our nation? We find out on the occasion of 25 April, Liberation Day, with a special visit to the Vittoriano and the Central Museum of the Risorgimento. Children and adults follow the adventures of some words such as “homeland”, “identity”, “future” and “nation” to learn how to tell different stories over time. Together we give shape and colour to our ideas, imagining compositions of objects, letters and symbols to create original “family portraits”.
