The Vittoriano in time between art and architecture

Children and families at VIVE
- Guided tour and workshop for children
- Sunday, January 28, 4 pm

A symbol of united and independent Italy, the Vittoriano soon became a pivotal place in the nation's collective imaginary. But who was the architect who designed it? What are the patterns that inspired him? Why are its white marbles so dazzling? These and other questions and curiosities will be answered during the tour that allows visitors to explore the monument's evocative spaces, trace its history and conduct an architectural and artistic investigation of its materials, geometries and volumes. We continue with a visit to the temporary exhibition " Angelo Zanelli and the Altar of the Fatherland" where participants will be able to graphically rework the iconic image of the Vittoriano.
