The Vittoriano Through Time: Art and Architecture in Italian Sign Language

Art and History for All
Animated tour in Italian Sign Language (LIS) for adults
Saturday, May 10th, 4:30 PM

A symbol of a united and independent Italy, the Vittoriano quickly became an iconic landmark in the national imagination.

Over the years, it has played a starring role in countless films and television programs — a powerful presence at the heart of Italy’s cultural narrative.

This special guided tour in Italian Sign Language (LIS), led by a professional Deaf guide, invites participants to explore the monument’s evocative spaces, trace its rich history, and uncover connections to the art and architecture of the past.

At the end of the tour, participants will have the chance to reinterpret the iconic image of the Vittoriano through graphic expression, inspired by the vision of artists and architects who have captured it over time.

This activity will be conducted in Italian.
