A symbol of Italy’s unity and independence, the Vittoriano quickly became a landmark in the national imagination, featuring in countless films and TV programs. This guided tour in Italian Sign Language (LIS), led by a specialized deaf guide, takes participants through the monument’s striking spaces, uncovering its history and exploring its connections—and contrasts—with past art and architecture. In the end, inspired by the vision of artists and architects, participants will have the chance to creatively reinterpret the Vittoriano’s iconic image.
