Vittoriano in Italian Sign Language

A guided tour in LIS, led by a specialized deaf guide, is dedicated to the Vittoriano, the monument in the heart of Rome dedicated to Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of Italy. Participants are taken on a discovery of the history, art and architecture of the Vittoriano to learn about the historical reasons for its construction, which became a symbol of united Italy, then of republican Italy and today a place of the collective imagination. The final stop of the tour is the spectacular Panoramic Terrace where you can enjoy a unique view of the city of Rome.
