A guided tour in LIS, led by a specialised deaf guide, is dedicated to the Vittoriano, the monument in the heart of Rome dedicated to Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of Italy. Participants are accompanied to discover the history, art and architecture of the Vittoriano to learn about the historical reasons for its construction, which became a symbol of united Italy, then of republican Italy, and today a place of the collective imagination.
