Art and history for all
Guided tour in Italian Sign Language (LIS) for adults
Saturday, May 24th, 10.30 AM

Ever wondered how Italy became a united, independent nation? Want to dive into the stories of its legendary figures — from Giuseppe Mazzini and Giuseppe Garibaldi to Count Cavour and King Victor Emmanuel II? This is the experience for you.

Led by a Deaf educator and conducted in Italian Sign Language (LIS), this immersive tour through the Museo Centrale del Risorgimento brings history to life through powerful symbols and personal stories.

You’ll come face to face with iconic artifacts — from one of the first tricolor flags sewn by patriot Giuditta Bellerio Sidoli to Garibaldi’s famous pair of jeans — each one revealing a piece of the struggle that shaped modern Italy.

This activity will be conducted in Italian.
