Racing trains, colorful smoke clouds, a train in the distance in a Piazza d’Italia, travel writings, resonating carriages, and conductor's whistles accompany children on an adventurous “train journey.” Each stop recounts small and large stories of a changing Italy, from 1861 to the present day. The animated tour is characterized as a performative and emotional journey; participants create a train by assembling "carriage-tile" pieces together. Through collages of words and images, signs, and drawings, these tiles collect and recount the impressions from each stage of the journey experienced in the exhibition.
