The activity is designed to promote a deep understanding of the monument through direct contact with materials, surfaces, and architectural forms, complemented by tools for interpreting and contextualizing the content. A guide specializing in museum accessibility engages visitors in sensory explorations of the spaces and artworks of Vittoriano.
The itinerary begins at the Art Nouveau iron gate on Piazza Venezia and continues to the pedestal of the equestrian statue of Vittorio Emanuele II, offering a chance to discover the physical characteristics of Botticino marble and the stories depicted. From there, participants gain a spatial understanding of Piazzale del Bollettino, bounded by the curved silhouette of the Sommoportico, before ending with an exploration of the rock block from Mount Grappa.
