This visit takes you to the upper loggia of Pope Paul II’s secret garden for a special journey through the Lapidarium of Palazzo Venezia, housed in the Palazzetto di San Marco.
The Lapidarium features over one hundred marble works — from the Classical period to the Renaissance — many of which were unearthed in the early 20th century right in the area of Piazza Venezia.
Through a tactile experience, visitors will explore the forms, textures, and intricate details of these marbles in an immersive, hands-on encounter with history.
This tour is developed in collaboration with the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired (UICI), reflecting VIVE’s ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
This activity will be conducted in Italian.
