This activity offers families a tactile tour designed to explore the Lapidarium of Palazzo Venezia through inclusive, multisensory and participatory approaches.
The itinerary takes place within the evocative setting of the upper loggia overlooking Pope Paul II’s secret garden and leads participants on a discovery of the Lapidarium.
The experience offers the opportunity to explore the artefacts through direct contact with their surfaces, reliefs, volumes and ornamental details, encouraging a deeper understanding of the material and sculptural qualities of the works. Tactile exploration will be accompanied by a narrative connecting the artefacts with their original historical context and tracing the events surrounding their creation, use and subsequent rediscovery.
