The visit leads into the upper loggia of Pope Paul II's secret garden to discover the Lapidarium, a collection of 120 marble works dating from the Classical period to the Renaissance. Some of these pieces were found in the early 20th century in the Piazza Venezia area. Through a tactile experience, visitors can learn the story of these marbles—from their discovery to their arrival at Palazzo Venezia—as well as their forms and decorations in an engaging and immersive narrative.
