Rome from Above: The Walkway at Palazzo Venezia

The Thousand Stories of VIVE
Guided tour for adults
Thursday, May 1st, 2025, 11:00 AM

At the top of Palazzo Venezia, the ancient walkway still stands, where guards once kept watch over the entrances behind medieval-style crenellations. Although it no longer serves its original defensive purpose, the walkway offers visitors a chance to step back in time and enjoy unique, breathtaking views of the city. From the drum and dome of the Church of the Gesù to Palazzo Bonaparte, from the Assicurazioni Generali Palace to the Colosseum, and stretching to the Imperial Fora and the towering Vittoriano, this vantage point reveals the true beauty of Rome.
