The Risorgimento and the Stories of Italian Unification

Eyeglasses, newspapers, red shirts, swords, and paintings, rebuses and photographs: in this tour, the extraordinary collection of Museo Centrale del Risorgimento becomes a map illustrating the ideals and figures who spearheaded the fight for the creation of a united and independent Italy. You'll be able to trace this history, from Mazzini's republican dream to Garibaldi's campaigns, and from the strategic alliances of the Kingdom of Sardinia – orchestrated by Cavour and Victor Emmanuel II – right up to the completion of the First World War.

LOCATION: Museo Centrale del Risorgimento, entrance to Vittoriano,  Ara Coeli side

This tour costs 5 euros. This fee is in addition to the cost of your VIVE entrance ticket.
Please remember that entrance is free for anyone up to 18 years old, and just 4 euros for those aged 18 to 25. To secure your spot on the tour, make sure to book and buy your ticket at least 2 days beforehand by clicking here.
