Postcards in the Moonlight at the Vittoriano

Family workshop
Friday, July 5, 2024, 7:30 p.m.

The Vittoriano was designed by architect Giuseppe Sacconi in honor of Italy's first king, Victor Emmanuel II in 1882-1883. Considered the highest symbol of united and independent Italy, the Vittoriano represents a pivotal place in the collective imagination of the nation. Young and old are invited to discover its history, architecture and art through an animated narrative created just for them. Visitors will experience a journey through time, walking along stairways and panoramic terraces, admiring the city from above and reinventing the places of exploration through the creation of illustrated postcards, full of suggestions and colors.
