Plein-air Painting in the Rediscovered Garden

Workshop for families at Palazzo Venezia

Information and reservations

In the heart of Rome, on the slopes of the Capitoline Hill, there is a Renaissance palace that looks like a fortress. Its crenellated walls enclose a nineteenth-century garden inhabited by parakeets, soaring palm trees, magnolias and plants that come from the four corners of the world. Immersed in the greenery of Palazzo Venezia’s Rediscovered Garden and surrounded by dappled light created by the flowers, trees and water of the splendid marble fountain, participants will be able to observe the surrounding nature, record every variation in light and colour, and experience first-hand the practice of plein-air painting like the famous Impressionist painters.

WHEN: 21 April.
TIME: 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: Palazzo Venezia.
MEETING: via del Plebiscito, 118.
