The other voice of the Risorgimento: Stories of women in the birth of Italy

A history written with invisible ink: it is that of the women who contributed to the Unification of Italy. In the guided tour through the museum halls, this presence emerges powerfully through extraordinary figures such as Giuditta Bellerio Sidoli, Anita Garibaldi, Colomba Antonietti, and Jessie White. Women who, with courage, actively participated in the Risorgimento process, taking on different but always decisive roles. The visit reconstructs their story, offering a new and in-depth look at a fundamental chapter of Italian history, told through objects, portraits, and documents kept by the museum to fully understand the value and strength of a little-known but decisive commitment.
