Vittoriano
The tour takes place inside Museo Centrale del Risorgimento and takes children and adults on a journey to discover Italy before national unification, its political and social transformations, and the key figures who shaped its historical path.
Through animated readings of specially selected nursery rhymes, stories, and narratives, participants will be guided to learn about the protagonists of the Risorgimento and the events that contributed to the birth of the unified Italian state.
The adventures of Giuseppe Garibaldi between Europe and South America, the political and civic engagement of Giuseppe Mazzini, the role of female patriots, and the many individuals who took part in the uprisings and campaigns for independence will be presented through an engaging narrative tailored for families.
The activity will conclude with a creative workshop during which children and adults will create a collective visual story in comic book form, allowing them to illustrate the episodes, characters, and details from the tour that sparked their interest the most.
