A secret garden, a marketplace, two majestic monumental complexes: looking through old and modern maps of Piazza Venezia means travelling back in time, as if leafing through an illustrated history book.
The interactive tour guides participants through the historical and artistic events that have shaped this area of Rome and its buildings: Palazzo Venezia, one of the city’s most distinguished Renaissance residences, and the Monument to Victor Emmanuel II, the first King of Italy. Each participant will create their own emotional map, bringing together a snapshot of the Vittoriano, details and colours from the frescoes of Palazzo Venezia, the story that most captured their imagination, and an idea for the future of the city.
WHERE: Palazzo Venezia, entrance to Palazzo Venezia, Via del Plebiscito 118
