Liberation Day at VIVE - Story of the Vittoriano - La storia del Vittoriano

Guided tour for adults
Friday, April 25th, at 4:00 PM

Eighty-one meters of history, written over more than sixty years, carved in bronze and marble, and preserved within the rooms of a massive stone book. The story of a mountain fragment from the Eastern Front. The tale of an ancient Roman goddess who protects both citizens and soldiers. And the one of the Unknown Soldier, symbol of Italy’s unity and national identity.

In celebration of Liberation Day, VIVE invites you to join a free tour of the Vittoriano, where you can explore Italy’s cultural heritage and history. During this visit, you’ll learn about the monument’s history, as well as the symbols and values it represents. It’s a unique opportunity to reflect on key concepts such as identity, unity, and nation.
