A Garden of My Own

This animated tour takes participants through Palazzo Venezia and its green spaces, an oasis of art and nature. In the richly decorated rooms, children will look for the colours and plant forms that have inspired frescoes and decorations by artists over the centuries. The tour then moves into the gardens, among palms, magnolias, cedars, camellias and box hedges. Here, participants can observe the interplay of light and shade created by the vegetation and the varied colours of berries and flowers. Finally, children will take part in a workshop to create their own gardens on a dedicated surface using an original water-based colouring technique.
