Four Remarkable Women

This initiative offers an educational and interactive experience for families, aimed at highlighting the role of women in the historical process of the Italian Risorgimento through the storytelling of the biographical stories and civic engagement of several prominent female figures.

The tour takes place within the exhibition spaces of the Central Museum of the Risorgimento and focuses on the lives and experiences of four key figures of the Risorgimento era: Giuditta Sidoli Bellerio, Anita Garibaldi, Colomba Antonietti, and Jessie White Mario. Through observation and a guided exploration of photographs, paintings, documents, and personal memoirs preserved in the museum’s collections, participants will be guided in discovering these women’s stories and their active roles in the movements for Italian independence and unification.

At the end of the tour, the activity continues with a creative workshop designed to process the content and reflect on the topics covered.

This tour costs 5€.
The tour fee is in addition to the VIVE admission ticket.
Please note that admission is free for visitors under 18, and only 4€ for those between 18 and 25 years old. To participate in the tour, you must book and purchase your ticket at least 2 days in advance by clicking here.
