An evening at the Vittoriano

The thousand stories of the LIVE
Guided tour for adults
Friday, July 12, 2024, 8:00 p.m.

Visitors will discover the Vittoriano in the evening hours by participating in exploratory walks and animated tours that will take them on a journey in the footsteps of artists, musicians, philosophers and filmmakers.
A visit to the Victor Emmanuel II Monument represents an experience not to be missed... The complex, conceived in January 1878 in honor of Italy's first king, Victor Emmanuel II, and the entire Risorgimento process, has housed the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and other memories of our history since 1921. Participants will enter through the monumental gate on Piazza Venezia, ascend to the Altar of the Fatherland and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, gaze at the statue of Victor Emmanuel II on horseback, and be amazed by the Piazzale del Bollettino and the Sommo portico. The tour will end on the spectacular Panoramic Terrace from which visitors will enjoy a unique view of the city of Rome.
