In the heart of Rome, at the foot of the Capitoline Hill, stands a Renaissance palace that resembles a fortress. Its crenelated walls enclose a 19th-century garden inhabited by parakeets, towering palms, magnolias, and plants from the four corners of the world.
Immersed in the greenery of Palazzo Venezia’s "rediscovered garden" (Giardino ritrovato) and surrounded by the play of light dancing between the flowers, trees, and the water of the magnificent marble fountain, participants will observe the surrounding nature, record every variation of light and color, and experiment with the practice of open-air painting just like Impressionist artists.
LOCATION: Entrance of Palazzo Venezia, via del Plebiscito, 118.
En plein air painting in the rediscovered garden
