In the centre of Rome: from Palazzo Venezia to the Vittoriano

The thousand stories of the VIVE
Guided tour for adults
Sunday 15 September, 11 a.m.

The VIVE is located in the exact centre of Rome and brings together the two most iconic buildings of Piazza Venezia. The tour starts from Palazzo Venezia, a majestic Renaissance residence that over the centuries has hosted cardinals, popes and ambassadors, its gardens, loggias, monumental halls and rich art collections, and continues with the Vittoriano, monument to the first king of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II and guardian of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Here the visitor can appreciate the architectural quality of the design by Giuseppe Sacconi and the great Italian sculptors of the 19th and 20th centuries, stop in front of the memories of the country's history, and climb up to the Panoramic Terrace to enjoy the most spectacular 360° view of Rome and its millenary urban fabric.
