In the Center of Rome: From Palazzo Venezia to Vittoriano

The Thousand Stories of VIVE
Guided tour for adults
Sunday, June 22, 2025, 11:00 AM

VIVE stands in the exact center of Rome, uniting the two most iconic buildings in Piazza Venezia. The tour begins at Palazzo Venezia, a majestic Renaissance residence that has hosted cardinals, popes, and ambassadors over the centuries, exploring its gardens, loggias, monumental halls, and rich art collections. It then continues to the Vittoriano, a monument to the first king of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II, and custodian of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Here, visitors can appreciate the architectural quality of Giuseppe Sacconi's design and the work of great Italian sculptors from the 19th and 20th centuries. They can pause before the memorials to national history and ascend to the Panoramic Terrace to enjoy the most spectacular 360° view of Rome and its millennia-old urban fabric.

LOCATION: Palazzo Venezia and Vittoriano, entrance to Palazzo Venezia, via del Plebiscito, 118
