In celebration of Domenica di Carta, the initiative promoted by the Ministry of Culture to promote the immense and precious archival and book heritage safeguarded in state libraries and archives, VIVE invites the public to discover Palazzo Venezia headquarters of BiASA, the Archaeology and Art History Library, which preserves an invaluable cultural heritage. The itinerary unveils to visitors the story of the founding of this important place for the preservation and transmission of knowledge, considered the most significant public institution at the national level for the research and study of archaeological, architectural, artistic, and historical-artistic disciplines. Entering the Library will allow visitors to immerse themselves in a Renaissance atmosphere, crossing the majestic reading rooms that once housed the private apartment of Pope Paul II. During the visit, in line with the theme "Libraries in the family - Family archives" visitors will have the opportunity to admire a selection of "Papers, pamphlets, and books of nobles, bibliophiles, archaeologists, and musicians in the collections of the Archaeology and Art History Library"

It is necessary to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the visit at the designated meeting point.
