This morning, the program of cultural activities for the Museo Nazionale Romano from June to December 2025 was announced in Hall X of the Terme di Diocleziano. The program was strongly advocated by Alfonsina Russo, Head of the Department for the Enhancement of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and Director of the Parco archeologico del Colosseo, and by Edith Gabrielli, Director of VIVE - Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia and Director ad interim of Museo Nazionale Romano. It is part of the enhancement agreement signed between the Department, the Museo Nazionale Romano, the Parco archeologico del Colosseo, and VIVE - Vittoriano e Palazzo Venezia.
The Museo Nazionale Romano's activity program for 2025 aligns with a strategic vision aimed at integrally enhancing its four historical sites – Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps, the Terme di Diocleziano with the Museo dell’Arte Salvata, and the Crypta Balbi – promoting a cultural offering capable of conveying the complexity and richness of Rome's archaeological, artistic, and historical heritage.
