Vittoriano
The Altar of the Fatherland restoration site is underway at the Vittoriano.
The construction site is an "open construction site": citizens and tourists will have the opportunity to observe the workers live and climb on the scaffolding thanks to special guided tours scheduled for Sunday, April 23, Sunday, June 11, Sunday, August 27, and Sunday, September 27.
The first guided tour is set for Sunday, April 23, at 11 a.m. Visitors will get a close look at the work of the restorers and the precious details of Zanelli's sculptural work.
