VIVE Institute's special program for Monday, May 1

Guided and animated tours of Palazzo Venezia and Vittoriano

Monday, May 1, Labor Day, is a special day for VIVE, which offers two educational activities: in the morning, a guided tour for all, ages 12 and up, at Palazzo Venezia and Vittoriano with the itinerary The Thousand Stories of VIVE. An ever-new look between Art and History.

The tour starts from Palazzo Venezia, a majestic Renaissance palace that has hosted cardinals, popes and ambassadors over the centuries, and continues with the Vittoriano, a monument to the first king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II and custodian of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, to the Panoramic Terrace to enjoy the most spectacular 360-degree view of Rome and its layered urban fabric.

In the afternoon, for families with children ages 5 to 12, an animated visit with workshop Children and Families at VIVE - Places, Colors and Emotions at Palazzo Venezia and Vittoriano is scheduled at 4 p.m. The VIVE educational team takes young and old through the historical and artistic events of this area of Rome and its buildings, such as Palazzo Venezia and Vittoriano.

Each participant will be able to create their own emotional map, where they can make visible the details, colors and impressions that most captured their attention and proposals for the future of the city.
