A symbol of a united and independent Italy, Vittoriano quickly became a pivotal landmark in the nation’s collective imagination. As such, the monument has inspired dozens of films and television programs.
This tour in Italian Sign Language (LIS), led by a specialized deaf educator, offers the opportunity to retrace the history of the building, explore its spaces, admire its sculptures, and examine the similarities and differences with the art and architecture of the past.
Much like assembling a puzzle, participants will graphically reimagine the iconic image of the monument, drawing inspiration from the unique perspectives of artists and architects.
