Workshop at Palazzo Venezia in LIS

Art and history for everyone
Tour with workshop for children in Italian Sign Language
Saturday, November 29, 4:00 PM

Palazzo Venezia - built starting from the second half of the fifteenth century by the Venetian Pietro Barbo, who later became Pope Paul II - is one of the most beautiful Renaissance residences in the city of Rome, with a long and compelling history. A tour in Italian Sign Language (LIS), led by a specialized deaf educator, guides visitors to discover its history, its spaces, and its masterpieces. The young participants embark on a journey through time, crossing gardens, loggias, and monumental halls, imagining life at the palace over the centuries through art, music, and literature. Finally, as in the past, in a specially arranged workshop, they reinvent the explored places by creating illustrated postcards, full of atmosphere and colour.

LOCATION: Palazzo Venezia entrance, via del Plebiscito, 118
