Red shirts and horsehair tails in LIS - Italian Sign Language

Guided tour with workshop for children at the Central Museum of the Risorgimento 
Saturday 11 March, 11 am

A guided tour in LIS – Italian Sign Language, conducted by a specialist deaf educator, to learn about the lives and exploits of some of the main characters of the Risorgimento, the Kingdom of Italy and the Republic, from Mazzini and Garibaldi to cuirassiers.

An animated tour will take the visitors inside the Vittoriano and the Central Museum of the Risorgimento, to discover the colors, the symbols and curiosities of the uniforms of those who, over time, have defended the motherland. In a dedicated teaching aid, participants can dress up the famous characters through the invention of original uniforms.
