Week 17. Overture on the decorative details of the frieze

The cleaning, the protagonist of these first four months of work, has finally given new life to the decorative details of the frieze sculpted by Angelo Zanelli and his workshop: from the inscriptions to the details of the draperies and faces of the characters depicted in the side processions, the video shows the richness of details not easily visible from the normal visitor's point of view.
Over the next few weeks, the surfaces of the side friezes will be consolidated and then cleared of scaffolding.
