Vittoriano
Easily visible are the holes drilled to record on the stone the measurements taken from the plaster model. These measurements were acquired on the plaster with a tool called a pantograph and brought back onto the stone by making a small hole.
Also easily recognizable are the marks left by the various tools: chisels of various shapes and sizes; pointed chisels; and the teeth chisel, which leaves even, parallel grooves, used mainly for the bottoms.
