On Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22, 2025, the conference "Monneret's photographic lens. Egypt, Nubia and Ethiopia in the INASA photographic archive" will be held at the National Institute of Archaeology and Art History at Palazzo Venezia.
The meeting, structured into two days of work, will be dedicated to the figure and work of Ugo Monneret de Villard, with the aim of exploring the multiple aspects of his contribution to Italian art history and archaeology. Scholars and specialists from various academic and research institutions will participate, offering a broad framework for scientific reflection and discussion.
