A symbol of a united and independent Italy, Vittoriano quickly became a cornerstone of the nation's collective imagination. As such, the monument has inspired dozens of films and television programs. This tour in Italian Sign Language (LIS), led by a specialized deaf educator, allows participants to retrace the building's history, explore its spaces, admire its sculptures, and examine the similarities and differences between it and the art and architecture of the past. Like a puzzle, participants will then graphically rework the monument's iconic image, inspired by the perspectives of artists and architects.
